We have written a whole lot about how income has changed (or not) for the affluent, middle class and poor in the U.S We Have written much less about what the wealthy,  middle class and poor actually do for work.

I will add one to this list: IT System Administrator. A buddy of mine and me are both in the same field, I started ahead of him but was slowed down in faculty. He did not go to college (just graduated HS), and accelerated in the field faster than me and is now making $130k. I am catching up but it undoubtedly makes me second guess my decision to go to college.

Plumbing is an approved and traditional form of occupation. Any of my elders who have realized what I intend to will no doubt see a greener version of themselves in my bill. Blogging on the other hand is in it is in the infancy of it yet folks are already saying the market is too over saturated to get a foot in the door. If that were the situation wouldn't false for plumbing? This trade is quite a bit older and could be called saturated it doesn't keep people like me from walking down the trail to self employment.

I've also had help from folks that I Have understood and good supervisors. Success is extremely hard without networking, and without real talent and hard work".
